Letter To MSPs

The letter below was sent as an email today to the following Highland & Islands MSPs, Rob Gibson, Mary Scanlon, John Finnie, Rhoda Grant, Mike MacKenzie, David Stewart and Jean Urquhart.

Dear MSPs

Marriage and Civil Partnership (Scotland) Bill.

I note with regret the way that you have voted at Stage 3 of the above Bill and how you voted on key amendments to protect civil liberties.  How men and, especially women, could vote to promote and legalise perversion is beyond my understanding.  How you could equate heterosexual marriage with same-sex marriage, "men with men working that which is unseemly," beggars belief.

What you have done in effect is to say, You know better than God!  God's word is very clear about marriage, but our enlightened, educated and effeminate MSPs have found fault with God's law and decided to replace it with the law of men.

Scottish MSPs (and Westminster MPs) have capitulated to a strong, vocal, articulate and publicly funded homosexual lobby, swallowing hook line and sinker their falsehood.  It is clear that politicians are out of touch with the ordinary man for same-sex marriage was never an issue that captivated the people before it was thrust upon them.  Those persons who took the trouble to respond to the government's consultation were overwhelming in favour of leaving marriage as it had been previously defined.

In one sense it is over and all we can look forward to is to see in the pro homosexual dominated media same-sex 'happy couples' going through sham marriage ceremonies and seeking to parade themselves to the public as normal and happy.

Well it is not over for you! God has placed you in a position of power and authority and you are accountable to him for your actions for, "the powers that be are ordained of God."

God will visit you for what you have legislated for.  God may choose to visit you in time or,  he may in his inscrutable wisdom, leave you until the day of judgment.  He is sovereign and will do whatever best suits his purposes.  But one thing is certain he will punish for sin.

However, I want to close on a positive note.  You have committed a great sin but it is not unpardonable.  It is not too late to repent and to seek the Lord's mercy while he may be found.  The Lord Jesus Christ prayed for his crucifiers, "Father forgive them; for they no not what they do."  Turn to him now for you will find him forgiving and merciful.

I will continue to pray for you and others in position of authority as God as commanded.

Kind regards

Rev Andrew R Allan
